Another clothes-shedding, soda-consuming change of the weather is upon Cambridge. The recent respite gave most undergraduates time to finish up their examinations and flee the city of heat, but a few wretches are still basting their brains. By the time that this spell is passed, Commencement will be a thing of the present, and with that once over, the college community will scatter to every corner of the globe where amusement or work can be found.
Meanwhile, swelter, for soon your books will no longer know the thumbing of fingers and the hasty passing of eyes. Glean them in haste and in the heat of the day, for you will soon rest.
No advice will be needed in meeting the new warm spell, for summer attire and disattire are already the rule. And if the combination of heat and examination is too much for some heads, just remember that it is soon over. But for the present, "Who made this damn weather anyway?"
