NORWICH POLOISTS RIDE TO DECISIVE WIN OVER CRIMSON

The Norwich polo three headed by its brilliant leader, Roger Fisher, swept to a decisive victory over the Crimson riders at the Northfield armory, Saturday afternoon, by a 14 1-2 to 6 score. The winning captain scored nine of his team's goals and gave a phenomenal exhibition of riding and mallet work.

The University riders were slightly handicapped by the loss of F. D. Stranahan Jr. 26, and the fact that they were using strange mounts. E. A. Tutein '28 number one and Holden White '28 each scored three times. The winners were aided by two pony goals, but lost a half point in the final period on a foul.

The Freshman trio also suffered a setback at the hands of the 51st artillery brigade squad by a 9 1-2 to 2 1-2 count, in the Commonwealth Armory Saturday night. The 1929 trio played good polo in its first game of the season, but was not sufficiently experienced for its opponents.
