CRIMSON COMPETITIONS ARE STILL OPEN TO 1929 AND 1930

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Although the pre-Mid Year competitions for the CRIMSON board formally opened last night in the news and photographic departments, additional candidates may still report for the work.

Any men who wish to enter these competitions should be on hand at the CRIMSON building this evening at 7 o'clock. Candidates will not incur any disadvantage by reporting at this time since actual work only starts today. This is the final opportunity offered men to try out for the University daily before next semester.

The news competition is open to Freshmen and lasts but seven weeks, ending before the Mid Year examinations. Sophomores alone are eligible to compete in the photographic work. Their competition will last for 11 weeks since their duties are not so ardious as those of the news reporter.
