NINE SENIORS ASKED TO HARVARD CLUBS' DINNER

LAST MEETING OF NEW ENGLAND CLUBS WAS LAST JULY

The Associated Harvard Clubs of New England have invited nine University Seniors to their banquet to be held tomorrow night at the Harvard Club of Boston.

The men who have been asked to be present are: J. R. Burke, D. W. Chapman Jr. C. D. Coady, L. F. Daley, Alexander Donald, J. D. Hitch, R. A. Magowan, W. E. Soule, and C. H. Weymer, F. V. Field, the President of the CRIMSON, was invited also, but he was forced to decline because of his work associated with the Senior elections.

Seniors To Discuss College Affairs

These men will probably be asked to speak on subjects concerning college conditions with which they are most familiar. No formal speeches have been scheduled, but, it is expected that the graduates will interrogate their guests on some aspects of University affairs.

J. R. Burke managed the University football team during the season which has just ended. D. W. Chapman was formerly president of the Debating Union and was a member of the team which faced the Cambridge, England orators, early this term. C. D. Coady served as captain of this year's University football team. L. F. Daley is President of the Student Council and a veteran of several football seasons. R. A. Magowan is the Vice President of the Harvard Union. W. E. Soule is Chairman of the recently instituted Student Advisory Committee. C. H. Weymer is manager of the University crew.

F. J. Sulloway '05, President of the New England Federation of Harvard Clubs, will preside over the meeting. The purpose of the meting is to keep the Harvard Alumni of New England in close touch with affairs at the University. The informal talks by prominent undergraduates will lend the desired intimate contact.

Last Meeting of N. E. Clubs in July

The New England Federation of Harvard Clubs held its last meeting on July 23, 24, and 25 at Brunswick, Maine, F. J. Sullaway '05 of Concord. New Hampshire, President of the Federation, presided. President K. C. M. Sills of Bowdoin welcomed the Harvard visitors.

The other speakers were: W. I. Nichols '26 of Wilton, Connecticut, and R. H. Field '26 of Phillips, Maine, both former presidents of the CRIMSON: Professor E. A. Whitney '17, assistant Dean in charge of freshmen; W. J. Bingham '16, the newly-appointed Director of Athletics; and I. F. Daley '27 of Andover, Massachusetts, President of the Student Council.
