JOHN TUDOR CHOSEN AS FRESHMAN ICE CAPTIAN

The unbeaten Freshman hockey team yesterday whose John Tudor of Boston as captain, at an election hold when the players gathered at the training table at noon. The flashy 1929 left wing, who is high scorer for the season with six goals to his credit, was chosen as the Crimson leader by a unanimous vote of his teammates.

Tudor starred for the St. Marks sextet for two years before coming to the University, and in his last season there he captained the team. He also played football and baseball while in preparatory school. The new first year Captian played a large part in downing his former St. Marks six on December 17. In the initial game of the season with Browne and Nichols, Tudor sagged the schoolboy's net five times in the overwhelming victory by the Freshman skaters.
