Pasteur Trials to Be Held Thursday

Preliminary trials for the Pasteur debates will be held on Thursday night at 7.30 o'clock at Sever 36.

The trials for the annual medal contest are open to all undergraduates. The competition is sponsored by the French Department as well as by the Debating Union and as usual will deal with some object pertaining to French affairs. This year the subject for debate is: Resolved, That a levy on capital as a solution of France's present financial difficulties is undesirable. The trials will consist of five minute speeches on either side of the question.
