CATCHER PRIOR ELECTED TO LEAD 1929 BASEBALL TEAM

John Andrew Prior '29 of Medford was elected yesterday afternoon to lead the Freshman baseball team.

Prior is the regular catcher of the 1929 team. Last year he captained the Andover nine; he starred for Andover for three years, playing first base. This spring Coach Davidson shifted him to catcher. He is the second backstop to lead a Freshman nine in four years, J. J. Maher '26 having captained the Crimson first year team three years ago.

Prior will lead his team into action for the first time tomorrow afternoon, when the Cushing Academy nine invades Soldiers Field.
