GOVERNOR BILLINGS, SLATED TO SPEAK TO GRADUATES, ILL

Governor Franklin S. Billings '85, of Vermont, will be unable to attend the Graduates' Day events today, it was announced last night, due to a sudden attack of iritis.

The place of the Governor, who, as president of the New England Federation of Harvard Clubs, was to have presided and spoken at the luncheon to be held at the Union at 1 o'clock this afternoon, will be taken by F. J. Sulloway '05, Vice-President of the Federation and Chairman of the Graduates' Day Committee.

Governor Billings is first Vice-President of the Harvard Club of Vermont and Chairman of the Vermont Endowment Committee, as well as a member of the Associated Harvard Clubs Committee on Service to the University.
