To de Editore of the CRIMSON:
In reference yours of a recent instant as published in your colyums I would like to declare that as far as I am not concerned the Planning Board is doing excellently. I ask you all if it isn't true that Harvard is getting more beautiful and more so. For instance the Coop is electing a new skyscraper of early American design, a guy by the name of Baker has just planted a new Business School on the other side of the River, and there is a splendid restaurant on the square. And as a matter of fact, I was having a talk with Joe Dube 1G.B. the other day and he sez to me that he liked the early Pullman style of Memorial Hall. As for a hotel on Mt. Auburn Street Joe was of my opinion too. We need a new Joint he says and seeing how our old meeting place, the Subway Rotunda is soon to come down, why not have a hotel lobby to hang out in? And by gosh there is something in that that the Planning Board and the rest of the University Gang should not forget. Jimmie Waldorf $5G.B.
