The men who have been selected to act as student advisers next year will meet this evening with the Student Advisory Committee in the Faculty Room of University Hall at 7 o'clock.
W. E. Soule '27, Chairman of the Committee, will outline the plans for next year and will explain the innovations which have recently been instituted in the advisory system. The most important change is the cutting down of the number of advisers to about 75. A particular effort has been made to pick men who will be willing and able to give their attention to the problem of advising Freshmen.
The reduction in the number of advisers will make it necessary for each one to take about 12 advisees. The latter will probably be assigned in entries, each entry in the Freshman dormitories being under the supervision of a single adviser.
