Sophomore and Junior candidates who wish to enter competitions for one of four departments of the CRIMSON, will meet at 7 o'clock tomorrow night in the President's office of the Crimson Building. President F. V. Field '27 will give a short talk to the assembled aspirants, outlining the general nature of the CRIMSON competitions before turning them over to the heads of the departments or preliminary instruction.
The departments open to Sophomore candidates are the News, Business, and Photographic, while the Editorial branch of the CRIMSON will be open to Juniors only. All four competitions will last 11 weeks. Previous newspaper training is valuable but not essential to candidates for any of three departments, and all students who feel an urge toward journalistic activity in any of these four lines are urged to attend the first meeting.
