William Potter Lage '30, of New York City, has been appointed assistant manager of the University football team, it was announced late Saturday night.
William Wallace Ryan '30, also of New York, was at the same time named second assistant manager. He will be in charge of the second University team.
Clarence Elkus Galston '30, of Woodmere, New York, it was announced, will be manager of class football.
The three men have been appointed to the managerships as a result of a competition which has been running since two weeks before the opening of College this fall.
Galston is the only new football manager who has had previous managerial experience in the University, being manager of his Freshman track team.
The current appointments are subject to confirmation by the Committee on the Regulation of Athletic Sports.
