SENIORS TO CAST BALLOTS TODAY

Committee of Juniors to Supervise Casting of Votes--Second Group Nominees Announced Wednesday

Election of the first group of Senior officers will be held today in Sever and Harvard Halls from 8.45 to 5 o'clock, and in Pierce Hall from 8.45 to 1 o'clock. The rules and the committee in charge of the balloting, together with announcement of the date for the nomination and election of the second group of 1928 officers, were made known last night by the Nominating Committee. The Junior Committee in charge of the balloting is headed by A. R. Sweezy and includes Morton Cole, James De Normandie, P. I. Dunne, J. K. Fairbank, A. H. Harlow, J. W. McPherson, Robert Reinhart, P. H. Rhinelander, J. H. Sachs, H. F. Schwarz, R. A. Stout, W. S. Tower, R. G. West, and W. S. Youngman. After the close of the polls the same committee will count the ballots and the results will be announced in the CRIMSON tomorrow.

In voting for marshals, three of whom will be elected, the method prescribed demands that the voter should place the figure "I" opposite the name of the man whom he desires for First Marshal; and that he should designate with "X" the name of the men whom he desires for Second and Third Marshals. A plurality of "1's" elects the First Marshal; the highest plurality of both "1's" and "X's" elects the Second Marshal, and the next highest number of combined votes elects the Third Marshal.

The method of balloting for all the other officers at this election requires that the name of one man for each office be checked; in each case the man with the plurality wins the office.

All ballots to be considered must be signed by the votes and should be marked in pencil. In case of an error in marking a ballot, only that part of the ballot will be void in which the error has been made.

Nominations for the remaining class offices will be announced Wednesday by the Nominating Committee and the elections will be held Friday.
