The finals of the fall tennis tournament in the Class A singles were settled yesterday afternoon when G. H. Perkins 3 S. A. defeated Louis Brewer Instructor.

The match was brilliantly played, and the gallery was treated to long rallies with expert placing on both sides.

The first set went to Perkins 6-4, but too many double faults and increased power on the part of his opponent cost him the second set 3-6. The third and fourth sets went to Perkins, who rallied effectively, 6-3 and 6-4 respectively.

The finals of the doubles tournament between Perkins and T. E. Janean 3L and E. B. Ward '30 and W. L. Breese '31 were unable to be played off yesterday because of an injury to Ward. The date of the match has not been announced yet, but it is expected that it will be played early next week.
