Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Several changes in the schedule of the University cross country, soccer and Freshman soccer teams were announced by the H. A. A. last night.
The date of the open intercollegiate cross country run has been changed from Saturday, November 3 to Friday, November 2 and the cross country run against Holy Cross which was to have taken place Friday, October 12 has been moved forward to Thursday, October 11.
The opening game of the University soccer season against New Hampshire, set for Friday has been cancelled, and the soccer game with Worcester Polytechnic Institute, scheduled for Tuesday, November 15, will be played tomorrow afternoon. Besides this, a game with Springfield's soccer team has been added to the Harvard schedule to fill a vacant date on November 14.
In the Freshman soccer schedule Andover's eleven, which was to have been met by the Crimson first-year men on November 3, will be played instead on Wednesday, October 24.
The Harvard Athletic Committee also voted to approve a Junior University soccer game with Yale but the time and place have not yet been determined.
Another announcement which the Athletic Committee has to make concerning Freshman cross country is the appointment of M. S. P. Pollard '31 of Lincoln as manager of the Freshman team.
