In this season of successful football it seems that Harvard University, as a whole, knows not that the University Band has recorded for their edification and girls:

* * *

The Victor Symphony Orchestra has done a reasonably good job on the Norina Overture. A very fair record at 75c.

* * *

JESSE CRAWFORD (who doesn't sell well in Cambridge and nobody knows why) has made is best record in weeks on "King for a Day" and "Jeannine".

* * *

HORRIBLE TO HEAR is Whiteman's PARADISE WALTZ and GRIEVING select clear!

* * *

Potent RUTH ETTING slices thru SONNY BOY, OK.

* * *

* * *

* * *

One Lee Morse and her Blue Grass Boys whose voice her press agent proclaims as "That Mellow Swanee Voice" honks I MUST HAVE THAT MAN and MISSISSIPPI MUD. However--done will.

* * *

ETHEL WATERS sings "MY HANDY MAN". Nasty, subtile, and will probably be suppressed.

* * *

HELEN KANE continues to sell in huge quantities in her new record. We finally have her picture in colors, if you'd care to have a look.

BUTTERNUT ON THE NIGHT WE DID THE BOOM BOOM. Fred Hall and His Sugar Babies. Good.

* * *
