RESULTS OF PHI BETA KAPPA ELECTION AWAIT APPROVAL

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Thirty-two Seniors and eight Juniors were elected to the Harvard chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa yesterday afternoon, but the names will not be announced until the election has been ratified by the Graduate Committee and President Lowell.

The men chosen from the junior Class are the first group to be selected from that class by the scholastic society; they will remain the only members of Phi Beta Kappa from 1930 until that class becomes the Senior Class in the College. It is expected that the names of the new members will be announced Monday.
