TEAM HOLDS FINAL PRACTICE SESSION

The gates of the Stadium were thrown open yesterday afternoon and some 500 enthusiastic students, led by the University Band, crowded into the structure to see the team in its final workout before leaving for New Haven where the finale of the season will be enacted tomorrow.

Team A lined up substantially as it has in its seven preliminary contests. R. H. O'Connell '30 and J. G. Douglas '30, ends; F. A. Clark '29 and W. D. Ticknor '30, tackies; J. E. Barrett '30 and J. N. Trainey '31, guards; B. H. Ticknor '31, center; E. T. Putnam '30, quarterback; A. E. French '29 and David Guarnaecia '29, halfbacks; and W. R. Harper '30, fullback was the eleven which ran through a light workout, kicking off and using some of its simpler plays and forward passes in signal drill. After ten minutes of this sort of exercise while the Crimson supporters cheered them on, the players trotted off the field leaving teams B and C and the seconds to hold the spotlight.

No Shifts in Lineup Probable

While there is nothing indicating that this lineup is definitely that which will face the Eli in the Bowl tomorrow afternoon, there is no cause to believe that Coach Horween is contemplating any shifts. These often have proven themselves to be the strongest and most dependable combination all season, and the fact that they are all in condition and ready to meet the Blue is the best indication that the Crimson will put on the field one of the strongest elevens in a good many years.

At 10.05 o'clock this morning, 81 players, coaches, managers, doctors, rubbers, and attaches to the squad will entrain at the Back Bay station for New Haven. Early in the afternoon. Coach Horween will send the Crimson squad through a brief workout in the Bowl. Immediately afterward, they will journey to Wallingford, spending the night at the Choate School, whence they will leave for the Bowl again shortly before noon tomorrow.
