All members of the 1932 cross country squad who will not run in the Harvard-Yale race on Friday are entered in a consolation run this afternoon, for which medals have been offered by D. J. O'Connell '21, who recently sponsored the first Annual Open Intercollegiate Cross Country Run for men who had not run in sectional meets.
The 1932 race, which will be over the Freshman course, will start at 3.30 o'clock. Four medals will be awarded, one gold, one silver, and two bronze, for the first four places.
Coach Jaakko Mikkola said yesterday that several of the men who will run today have been kept off the first year team through no fault of their own, and that he expected to see some of them on the University team next year.
