With first places in four out of the six Freshman dormitory fall sports events, Smith Halls wins the fall championship to maintain the lead it has run up against its competitors in the last nine years.
The standing for this fall of the four dormitories as it was announced last night by A. W. Samborski '26, director of intramural athletics, is as follows:
Smith Halls, 26; Standish Hall, 20; Gore Hall, 19; McKinlock Hall, 10.
The points by sports are as follows:
Football: Standish, 4; Gore, 3; McKinlock, 2; Smith, 1.
Touch Football: Smith, 4; Standish, 3; Gore, 2; McKinlock, 0.
Tennis: Smith, 4; McKinlock, 2 1-2; Standish, 2 1-2; Gore, 1.
Cross Country: Standish, 4; Gore, 3; Smith, 2; McKinlock, 0.
Crew: Smith, 4; Gore, 3; Standish, 2; McKinlock, 1.
Numerals: Smith, 4; Gore, 3; McKinlock, 1 1-2; Standish 1 1-2.
The name of the winner of Freshman fall sports will be inscribed on the shield in each of the dormitories.
