Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Featured by the brilliant playing of Captain W. J. Iselin '29, who decisively defeated Myles Baker '22, former National Squash Racquets Champion, the University squash team opened its season with a 3 to 2 victory over the Union Boat Club Saturday afternoon.
B. H. Whitbeck '29, playing number two position on the University team lost his match by a narrow margin after taking the first game, while Hooe of the Boat Club and S. B. Meyers '29, played five games with the Harvard man losing the deciding game 15-12.
The Class B team of the University likewise inaugurated its season with a victory, defeating the Newton Center Squash Tennis Club four to one on the University courts. The Freshman group maintained its record of last week by taking every match from the Walkover Club at Brockton, thus tieing with the Harvard Club of Boston for first place in the C division. The University C team, however, lost to the Union Boat Club group in their class, dropping three matches to their oppon. ents two.
