Fifteen seniors were elected to office yesterday in the second and final ballot, which was featured by a tie for first place in the election of the Class Day Committee and a close race for positions on the Album Committee.
Richard Arnold Stout, of Louisville, Kentucky, won the position of Permanent Class. Secretary with a comfortable margin over the other three candidates.
The positions on the Permanent Class Committee went to Winslow Carlton, of New York City, and William Sterling Youngman, Jr., of Brookline, who enjoyed a wide lead over the remaining two nominees.
In the race for positions on the Class Day Committee there was a tie for first place between James Luther Reid, of Somerville, and John Tudor, of Boston. The remaining five members of the committee finished in the following order: Kenneth Douglas Robinson, Jr., of Hewlitt, Long Island, New York: Edward William Sexton, of Winchester; John Andrew Prior, of Medford; Howard What're, Jr., of Newton Highlands; Thomas Gaunt Moore, of St. Louis. Missourl.
The Album Committee of five members was chosen in the order given as follows: Robert Reinhart, of. New York; John Williamson McPherson, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Richard Goodman John de Laittre, of Minneapolis, Minesota; Arthur Harold Harlow, Jr., of New York City.
