POOL-JANSEN MATCH IS HALTED DUE TO INJURY

CLASS C TOURNAMENT TO OPEN FEBRUARY 27

With the score two matches to two, the fourth round squash match of the State Individual Championship tournament between J. L. Pool '28 and T. E. Jansen, of the Cambridge Squash Racquets Club was halted yesterday due to an injury which Jansen received from a blow over the eye from Pool's racquet. The match will be played off Saturday afternoon. After the close of the match, announcement was made of the class C tournament which is to open February 27.

The following men have entered the class C tournament: R. G. Fiske '28, W. S. Hardie '30, Morton Pepper 1L., Burton Richardson '29, and H. G. Swann '28. Others may be added to the list as the closing date is still four weeks away.

The rules of the tournament prohibit any player from entering the meet who played on any class A or B team for the season of 1927-1928. But a player who played on a class B team in the 1926-1927 season may play in the contest, is he has restricted his playing for the 1927-1928 season to class C teams. All entries should be forwarded to W. M. Shedden, in care of the Union Boat Club, Chestnut Street, Boston. If the names are not sent in by noon February 25, they will not be considered for the tourney.

Preliminary matches up to the match before the semi-finals may be played on any courts other than the ones available at the Union Boat Club. All men in the contest will be expected to arrange their own matches.
