FRESHMAN HOCKEY TEAM DEFEATS ST. JOHN'S 11-0

Undefeated Sextet Puts Opposition on Defense Most of Time--Batchelder and Hallowell Star

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The 1931 sextet remains undefeated. Yesterday afternoon at the Arena the Freshmen blanked the St. John's Preparatory School team 11 to 9. The schoolboys were on the defensive most of the time.

Captain H. L. Batchelder '31 started his teammates scoring in the first period by shooting the puck three times past St. John's goal keeper.

J. W. Hallowell '31, substituting for P. H. Watts '31 at right wing, continued to invade the schoolboys' territory, giving the Freshmen a four point lead at the end of the first period.

Watts starred in the second session when he sent the puck twice into the opponents' net.

St. John's was outskated continually. At the first half of the third period, the Crimson had been little troubled in running up lead of ten points.

The final marker was chalked up by Hallowell, who shared with Batchelder the honors of the day. HARVARD 1931  ST.
