Nominations for officers of the Freshman Class were announced last night by A. E. French '29, who is in charge of Freshman affairs. Any names may be added to this list by presenting a petition signed by 25 members of the Freshman Class to French in Straus 27. In order to be nominated a student must be in good scholastic standing.

All nominations will close Thursday, March 8. Elections will commence on the following Monday, March 12. Ballots will be taken for two days at each of the four Freshman halls and at Sever Hall. The balloting will be conducted on the preferential system. The list of nominees so far is as follows:

Benjamin Holt Ticknor '31 of New York City.

Samuel Lawrence Batchelder '31 of Boston.

For Vice-President

Phillips Finlay '31 of Redlands, Cal.

Marshall Stearns Jr. '31 of New Canaan, Conn.
