Official spring football practice will start this afternoon with a meeting at the Locker Building at 3.30 o'clock. Coach Arnold Horween '20 arrived in Boston Saturday night from Chicago and conferred with his coaching associates at a meeting last night held in the Harvard Union.
At the meeting Coach Horween emphasized that the work will be daily and will last until the spring recess. In a few days heavy equipment will be used, and it is expected that many scrimmages will take place.
During the last few days of the practice a kicking competition is going to be held. It will consist of a drop kicking and a punting competition. The Harvard Athletic Association will award medals to the winners.
