DRAWINGS BY HOMER, SARGENT, AND TURNER ARE EXHIBITED

Display at Fogg Museum Features English Work

An exhibition of water colors and drawings by Homer, Sargent, Ruskin, and Turner, taken from the Museum's collection, is now on display at the Fogg Art Museum.

In the exhibit are five Sargents, including "In the Tyrol", the gift of Sir Joseph Duveen: "A Tomb at Toledo", purchased from the Louise E. Betteus Fund; and "Camping near Lake O'Hara", the gift of the friends of the Fogg Museum. Sargent's oil painting "Lake O'Hara" is also given.

The Winslow Hemer paintings include scenes in the Adirondacks and at Key West

Among the Turner's are the "Devonport", and "Sunplon Pass", besides a number of his delicate pencil drawings.

Among the Ruskin water colors are two entitled "Falls of Schaffhausen", one finished and the other unfinished. "The Hotel de Ville at Aix-la Chapelle", and a view of the Seine.

The exhibition will remain on view throughout the week
