1928, IN CAPS AND GOWNS, TO FACE CAMERA TUESDAY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Next Tuesday members of the Senior class will don caps and gowns, in accordance with the long-standing tradition that places these articles of attire on all Seniors daily after May 1, not to be doffed until noon of each day. On the same day, at 1.30 o'clock, the Class of 1928 will assemble on the steps of Widener for the Senior picture. No one will be allowed in the picture unless he is wearing his cap and gown, and danger of damage to this clothing has been eliminated by the abolition of the custom of having the Freshman picture taken at the same time. In 1926 the Freshmen opened an egg barage which caused so much trouble and expense that danger of similar contests has been avoided by a college ruling. Seniors may obtain their caps and gowns at the Cooperative Society.
