SERIES OF COMPETITIONS TO ENGAGE FOOTBALL MEN

This afternoon beginning at 2.30 o'clock a series of nine competitions will be held for the football squad at Soldiers Field. These competitions, of which there are more this year than in previous years, is an annual affair of the spring football workout.

At 2.30 o'clock the men playing baseball who are specializing in certain features of football will compete. This will not interfere with the regular baseball practice. At 3.30 o'clock the following events will start; pasing for centers, drop kicking, place kicking, coming out of the line, and holding place kicks.

At 4 o'clock the forward passing, and the catching of passes will be run off At 4.15 o'clock the punting and the kicking off competitions will be held.

Officials of the Harvard Athletic Association will be present and will act as judges with the coaches of the events Medals and cups will be given to the winners of each event.
