"The History and Traditions of Harvard College," the 80 page booklet sponsored by the College and published by the CRIMSON will go on sale today for the first time at the CRIMSON Building, the Harvard Cooperative Society. Amee's and Felix's at 8.50 per copy. The first and only edition of the booklet to be published this year is limited to 1600 copies, 1000 of which are being sent to the members of the entering class of 1932 along with the other official registration literature of the college this summer.
For the remaining 600 copies which are to be sold, orders have been pouring in steadily and only about 500 will be available during Commencement Week for Seniors, their parents and friends, and returning graduates. These fo on sale this morning. All receipts will go toward paying for those copies sent to the incoming class.
President Lowell has written the introduction to the volume which is featured by Professor S. E. Morison's short "History of Harvard College" LeBaron Russell Briggs '75, former Dean of Harvard College, writes on "Harvard and the Individual": Dean Alfred Chester Hanford Ph.D. '23 discusses "Recent Educational Developments." W. J. Bingham '16, director of Athletics, contributes an article on "Harvard Athletics." Henry Cannon Clark '11, treasurer of the Alumni Association, writes on "Crew and Football" W. I. Nichols '26, assistant dean of the College, analyzes "Habits, Customs, and Manners at Harvard" and R. A. Stout '29, managing editor of the CRIMSON, writes on "The Yard."
