P.B.H. TO RECEIVE FRESHMEN TODAY

The final gathering of the Freshmen before the opening of college occurs this evening when the class will gather at the Phillips Brooks House at 7.30 o'clock. This meeting will close the three day reception planned for the class of 1932 by the college.

Winslow Carlton '29, president of the Phillips Brooks House Association will preside over the meeting. Five prominent upperclassmen in charge of varied activities will address the gathering.

A. R. Sweezy '29 president of the CRIMSON is the first speaker on the program and he will out line the advantages of working on the college daily. He will be followed by A. R. Blackburn '29, president of the Lampoon, who in turn will defend his own journal against the other extracuricular activities. Robeson Bailey '29, president of the Advocate, will represent the third college paper.

J. R. Carter '30, president of the Glee Club, and R. S. Holder '29, president of the Instrumental Club, will be the last two speakers on the program.

With men representing a large number of the most prominent non athletic activities scheduled to speak, the Freshmen class is offered an excellent opportunity to size up the extracuricular activities which will open before it in its next few years at college.
