Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
The Freshman football squad was cut yesterday afternoon for the first time, 54 candidates being retained. The new squad will meet this afternoon at 1.30 o'clock for its first practice as a reorganized unit. Those who have been cut will take part in Freshman Dormitory football.
Among those who have shown up best in practice and have been retained on the squad are E. B. Wood who prepared at Milton and F. J. Gilligan of Exeter. Both are trying out for the same back-field position and vigorously contesting for the honor of filling it throughout the season. Other members of the squad who deserve mention are Murdock Finlayson, tackle, and E. A. Mays and Charles Devens, backs.
