LACROSSE SQUAD PICKED FOR TRIP TO SYRACUSE

Coach Madison Sayles '27 Selects 24 Men to Make Journey--To Practice With Syracuse Team

Announcement of the 24 members of the University lacrosse squad who were picked for the Syracuse trip, was made last night by Madison Sayles '27, head coach of the team.

Leaving Boston Sunday night, these men will practice daily with the Syracuse team from Monday until Friday. These practice games will be under the direction of Lawrence Cox, Syracuse coach and one of the cleverest mentors of lacrosse in the country, through whom the visit was arranged. While at Syracuse, the Harvard group will eat at their host's training table, and several entertainments have been arranged in their honor. On Friday, they will leave for Schenectady where they are to play the only regular game of the trip, with Union College on Saturday afternoon.

Henderson '31, Wayne Hobbs '31, O. C. Johnson '31, A. R. B. McGuire '30, James Marshall '31, T. I. Nido '30, S. P. Park '29, F. A. Pickard '29, R. G. Pope '31, G. S. Robinson '31, W. J. Salmon '30, D. T. Saunders '30, W. A. Wilkinson '29.

Others, besides Coach Sayles, who will accompany the group, include E. F. Gamache '27, assistant coach, H. D. Lane '28, in charge of Freshman lacrosse, and H. G. Henchel '30, assistant University manager.
