New Haven, Conn., May 24--Yale is favored in the field events while the runs appear almost evenly divided. Sturdy will take the pole vault, while Pond and Cone are favored for the other places, although Cleaver and Dunlap have chances for points. Moore and Harding will win the javelin, while Kiesling and Carr will throw for third.

Connor, who took sixth place in the hammer throw at the Olympics, will win his event, while Stewart of Yale, Alcock, and Vonckx will fight for the other places. Weicker and Brandenburg are conceded the discus while the shot put seems close, with O'Gorman of Yale favored on past performances. Wolf, Yale, is favored in the high jump, while French and Rowe seem best in the broad jump. Yale Daily News.
