The architectural firm of Coolidge Shepley Bulfinch and Abbott is at work on plans for a Faculty Club house to be built where the Colonial Club now stands on Quincy Street, it was learned yesterday.
Although no actual construction will be started for some time, eventually the Colonial Club will be torn down and replaced by a new building instead of being, rebuilt, as was being considered last year.
During the first of January in 1929, the Corporation procured the whole of this property, and already owned the adjoining land which belonged to the late Professor Farlow.
