While the football coaches and ineligible players were defeating the second University team yesterday afternoon, 13 to 0, the Harvard Junior Class team was defeated by the M.I.T. sophomores, 12 to 0.
Madison Sayles '27, former University end and fullback made the first score for the victors in the Coaches' game; and the other was made at the opening of the second half by J. G. Cassedy '33 on an 80-yard runback of the kickoff. The one extra point was awarded on an offside.
In the class game, Tech scored in the first quarter on a wide end run by Amenta. The winners again counted in the last period after Hapgood bucked through the line.
The election of the 150-pound foot-ball captain, which was to have taken place yesterday afternoon, was postponed because of the weather, which caused a cancellation of practice.
