This afternoon at 3.30 o'clock the University and Freshman wrestling seasons will be formally opened by a meeting in the wrestling room of the new Indoor Athletic Building.
Coach Clifford Gallagher and Nathaniel Warner '30, Freshman coach, will give short talks at the meeting. Among Freshman wrestlers, interdormitory teams will be organized as soon as possible, since the annual meet will be held this year on Wednesday, December 17. The Freshman squad will be picked from the winners of this meet.
The University captain, to fill the place of C.D. Newhart, who did not return to College this year, will be elected after a few days. Among the University candidates there is a great lack of material in the heavyweight classes, while among the Freshmen who have been practicing informally, there is a lack of lightweight material.
