C. C. Pell '08 has scored his twelfth victory in the Gold Racquet squash tourney at Tuxedo Park, N. Y. He defeated Lord Aberdare, of England, in the final round, 15-10, 15-6, 15-12. By this triumph Pell has obtained the permanent possession of his fourth trophy for this event. The tourney was the twenty-fourth of the annual series.
Although Pell won straight games, the score in no way indicates the closeness of the match for each rally meant many brilliant shots and the players continually had the gallery on its feet.
The international matches will start tomorrow at the New York Racquets and Tennis Club and will be followed by the amateur championship tourney in Boston.
