GLEE CLUB AND CHORAL SOCIETY GIVE CONCERT

In a joint concert with 40 members of the Radcliffe Choral Society the Harvard Glee Club, conducted by Professor A. T. Davison '06, will sing tonight at 8 o'clock at Milton Academy, Milton.

The 30 Glee Club singers and the Choral Society will open the program with three choruses by George Frederick Handel--"The Heart That's Contented" from "Admetus", "May No Rash Intruder" from "Solomon", and "The Foolish Lover Squanders" from "Deidamia."

Following this the Choral Society will sing two songs from Shakespeare--"Full Fathom Five" by John Ireland and "It was a Lover and His Lass" by H. Vaughan Williams; "Cherry Stones" by the Marquis of Bland ford; and "Follow Me Down to Carlow", an Irish folk song.

After the joint chorus has sung six love songs from opus 52 and opus 65 of Johannes Brahms, the Glee Club will continue with "Marching" by Brahms, the "Summer Evening" by Salim Palmgren, and three Welsh folk songs--"O Why Camest Thou", "Men of Harlech", and "The Monks' March."

The concert will be concluded with a joint rendering of Vaughan Williams' antiphon, no. 5 from "Five Mystical Songs."

During the Brahms festival at Symphony Hall, Boston, from March 21 to March 26, the Glee Club and the Choral Society will again appear together in two concerts.
