The University baseball team faces a preliminary season of 29 games this spring, the fullest schedule it has had in the last few years, it was announced yesterday. The diamond campaign culminates June 17, and 18, when the nine clashes with the Blue in a three-game series, contrary to previous announcement June 21 has been reserved for the play-off in case the first two games result in a deadlock. Negotiations are now under way for a game with the University of Texas on Soldiers Field some time in June.

The season opens April 5, when the Crimson clashes with the Terriers of Boston University on the latter's grounds. Then the nine treks south-ward for a six-game spring trip, opposing the University of Richmond, William and Mary, the Quantico Marines, Georgetown, Catholic University, and Columbia in order.
