To the Editor of the CRIMSON:
This is just a little letter of resentment to the word "biddies" which figures so prominently in your morning paper. I am speaking for myself and not as a body.
True we have considerable cleaning to do, but in University Hall we are listed as maids not "biddies".
If we are unfortunate enough to have to work for a living. I don't think it too much to ask for a little respect in return for the many little acts of kindness which we perform in our work.
Thanking you for your valuable space I remain A Maid.
(Ed Note: "Biddy" is listed in standard dictionaries, and according to the definitions given is in no sense a disparaging term for "maid". Certainly no disparagement was intended).
