Pearson Replaces Bacon Who is Out Because of Injuries--Swaim Rowing Number Two in Jayvees

Two Harvard crews the first and Jayvee eights, leave today for Ithaca, to row Saturday in the triangular regatta there with Cornell and Syracuse. Several changes have been effected in the seatings of the boats, the most recent of them announced yesterday by Coach Charles Whiteside. T. E. Armstrong '32, who has been rowing at number four in the Jayvees, has replaced Captain J. E. Lawrence '31 as stroke. Lawrence has gone to the number two seat in the third eight.

S. W. Swaim '31, who has been rowing all season at number two in the first crew, has taken that seat in the Jayvees, and R. I. McKesson '31 is rowing number four.

One Change in 1933 Crew

One change has been made in the Freshman crew, which has no more races scheduled until that with Yale on June 20. W. B. Bacon '33, who was injured several days ago, has been replaced temporarily in the 1933 eight by R. W. Pearson '31 at number six.

In addition to the regular members of the first and second eights, Coach Whiteside is carrying two extra men, J. E. Lawrence '31, and E. L. Millard '31.

The following are, the orders of the three University and of the 1933 crews as they are seated now:

University--stroke, Colloredo-Mansfeld; 7, Captain Dickey; 6, Webster; 5, Johnson; 4, Hovey; 3, Erickson; 2, Hallowell; bow, Page; coxswain, Stebbins.

Jayvees--stroke, Armstrong; 7, Sturges; 6, Donaldson; 5, Veeder; 4, McKesson; 3, Buckley; 3, Swaim; bow Robinson; coxswain, Holmes.

The Freshman 150-pound eight will meet the Yale 150-pounders Saturday on the Connecticut at New Haven.
