An inexperienced Leverett House team defeated the Andover second string 7-6 yesterday afternoon. The Andover touchdown was scored early in the game after a hard drive down the field by Pfeiffer, playing at fullback, but it was not until the last two minutes of the fourth period that A. H. Sherman '34, Leverett left half back, caught a pass in the Andover territory and ran over for the only Leverett House score. A short run by Sherman, and an unexpected freak pass to Barrett, gave the Harvard team the necessary point after the touchdown.
In a rather monotonous game between Eliot and Lowell House, the Elephants trounced their neighbors 15-0. A fumble and a blocked kick gave A. Nickerson, Eliot left end, the opportunity to score both touchdowns, and Ferry kicked the extra point. In the last part of the game, Eliot House scored a safety when West, playing right half back for Lowell, was dragged down behind his own goal line.
