At the usual high table dinner in Lowell House last night C. A. Coolidge '81, member of the Boston firm of Coolidge, Shepley, Bulfinch, and Abbott, architects of all the Houses except Adams House and of many other University buildings, presented two pairs of three-branched silver candelabra to Lowell House.
Coolidge was welcomed to Lowell House by J. L. Coolidge '95, master of the House. The welcome was followed by Coolidge's presentation of the candelabras and their acceptance by President Lowell for Lowell House. Mr. Coolidge was then thanked for the candelabra and his permanent interest in the House plan was mentioned.
