"A NOUS LA LIBERTE" TO BE PRESENTED THIS WEEK

Announcement was made yesterday by Mrs. E. K. Rand, President of the French Talking Films Committee, of the presentation by the committee on Thursday and Friday of this week of "A Nous, La Liberte," one of the most famous of recent French films. This film was presented last June at the Fine Arts Theatre in Boston, where it played to packed houses.

Rene Clair, who is the author of "Le Million," which was chosen by the committee as their initial production of last year, also wrote "A Nous, La Liberte." The music was written by Aurie, a well-known Parisian composer.

The film will be shown at 2.30, 5.15, and 8.30 o'clock on both days at the Institute of Geographical Exploration. Tickets may be obtained, on presentation of a Bursar's card at the Exhibition Hall in Robinson Hall Annex.

The French Talking Films Committee has made tentative plans for the importation of several films direct from Paris. According to a statement by Mrs. Rand; "Paris is beginning to view motion pictures from an educational point of view, and have begun the production of many famous French classics. Moliere's "Mousieur Pourceaugnne" has already been completed and "Les Trois Mousequetaires" is now under production. The committee hopes to produce many worthwhile films during the year."
