HANDICAP TRACK MEET TO BE COMPLETED THIS AFTERNOON

Due to adverse weather conditions yesterday, all but one event in the Fall Handicap Track Meet were postponed, and will be run off this afternoon. The only event to take place yesterday was the finals of the javelin throw, which was partially completed on Tuesday.

A. E. Washburn '34 hurled the javelin a distance of 1932 feet, 6 inches, to take first place in this event. Second place was captured by H. W. Huntington '34, with a throw of 175 feet, 4 inches, while R. F. Estes '34 was third, with a distance of 171 feet, 2 inches. As in the other events, all three men placing in the javelin throw will be awarded medals.

The remaining events will be held this afternoon on the Freshman track, beginning at 2.15 o'clock. They will include the 70 and 150 yard dashes; the 70 and 120 yard hurdles; and the quarter and half mile runs. The long distance runners will participate in the Cross Country Handicap Meet next week.
