CAST CHOSEN FOR WELLESLEY PLAY

Play Is Scheduled For Production On December 2nd and 3rd-Miss DeBank To Be in Charge

At the tryouts held last night in Alumnae Hall, Wellesley, six men associated with the Dramatic Club were selected for parts in "The Cherry Orchard", the fall production of the Barnswallows Association.

The men selected and their parts are as follows: Eugene Angert '35, Troflmov; J. C. Cort '35, Lopahin; V. S. Hodges '34, Epihodov; H. G. Hutchinson '33, Gaov; I. F. Trosh '34, Firs; and Edgar Peterson '35, Semponov-Pishtchik. Angert acted as prompter in "Napoleon Intrudes", the spring production of the Dramatic Club last year. Cort took the part of William Wordsworth in "Charles and Mary", a production of the Dramatic Club last winter; the part of sub-lieutenant in the "Man of Destiny", a production of the Barnswallows, and acted as the Councillor in "Napoleon Intrudes". Hutchinson was cast as Mr.Lamb in "Charles and Mary" and as the president of the council in "Napoleon Intrudes". Hodges took the part of Morris in "Napoleon Intrudes" and had experience in a stock company last summer.

"The Cherry Orchard" will be under the direction of Miss de Bank, who was for six years director of the Repertory Theatre in Cape Town. The play is scheduled for production on Friday and Saturday, December 2 and 3.

There will probably be a dance following both performances given under the auspices of the Barnswallows Association.
