GAME FOR UNEMPLOYED SET FOR DECEMBER 10

A post-season charity football game in the Harvard Stadium for the benefit of Cambridge and Boston unemployed has been definitely scheduled for Saturday afternoon, December 10 it was learned last night from F.V. McMenimen, Cambridge City Councillor, and W.G. O'Hare 'H, who are representing Mayor Russell of Cambridge and Mayor Curley of Boston on the joint committee sponsoring the contest.

Although L.H. Leary '05, chairman of the committee, stated last Tuesday that the game would probably not take place, McMenimen and O'Hare were emphatic last night in declaring that there was no question that the contest would be held, and that it was only necessary to pick two teams to oppose each other. McMenimen said that Mayor Russell had recently conferred with President Lowell on the matter, and that the offer of the use of the Stadium had been reaffirmed.

The Boston Braves, professional eleven, have offered their services, as has a Boston semi-professional team. Original plans calling for a game between the Braves and an all-star team of New England college seniors have been definitely abandoned.
