SULLIVAN CHOSEN CLASS SECRETARY BY LARGE MARGIN

Donal Mark Sullivan, of Boston, was elected Permanent Class Secretary as a result of the final Senior Class Elections held yesterday and the day before. Sullivan, who has been prominent in a number of activities, notably as a member of the Harvard debating team, and as president of the Harvard Democratic Club, defeated his opponent, Stephen Henry Stackpole, of Milton, by 49 votes. The total poll at the elections was 345 votes, which is 87 more than the total in last year's elections.

In addition to selecting the Permanent Class Secretary, who holds this position for life, the Seniors also chose the following six men to be the Permanent Class committee:

Malcolm Bancroft, of Boston; Roger Haydock Hallowell, of Readville; Nathan Phillips Dodge, of Milton; Horace Greeley Reisner, of West Lafayette, Indiana; Pat Orr Johnson, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and William Ambrose Adler, of Boston.

The following five men were elected to the Album Committee; Edward Hutchins Hickey, of Boston; Karl Adams, Jr., of Boston; Henry Hamilton Bissell, of Cambridge; Bradford Keyser Bachrach, of West Newton; and John James Ryan, of Jamaica Plain.

The following seven men were chosen for the class day committee: John Clark Grady, of Somerville; Benton Spangler Wood, of Honolulu, Hawaii; Leon Adams Francisco, of Danville, Virginia; William Andrew Schroeder, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania; Ian Baldwin, of Mt. Kisco, New York; Francis Paul Campana, of Dorchester; and Winfield Adelbert Huppuch, of Glen Falls, New York. These men will have charge of Class Day arrangements.

In respect to the permanent Class Committee, the three men having the largest number of votes shall serve until after the third reunion.
