HODDER MAKES INITIAL FRESHMAN HOCKEY CUT

Thirty-Seven Men Retained on 1936 Squad--First Game With Belmont Hill on Wednesday

Thirty-seven men were retained on the Freshman hockey squad by Coach Clark Hodder '25, after the first cut of the season in preparation for the initial game with Belmont Hill on Wednesday.

Hodder has divided his men into two groups, putting twenty-one in the first division, from which he will choose his first team. The remaining men have been placed in the other division and a second team will be formed from this group.

Those retained in the first group are as follows: Thornton Brown, S. R. Calloway, R. M. Claflin, John Clement, D. F. Cutter, Jr., P. N. deRosset, A. S. Dewey, A. F. Duffy, Jr., B. H. Hallowell, M. S. Hovenanian, B. H. Lane, F. H. McDonell, S. G. Mortimer, Jr., F. R. Moseley, Jr., G. E. Prouty, Jr., Timothy Putnam, W. C. Quinby, Jr., H. B. Robbins, J. A. Roberts, R. H. Waldinger, R. E. Woods.

The second group of sixteen men follows: R. P. Curtis, Jr., E. W. Dalton, F. E. Denny, O. H. Emmons, P. E. Fox, F. M. Foley, F. G. Jewett, Jr., R. D. Kernan, A. B. McFadden, John Page, Lewis Perry, Jr., Edward Rawson, G. F. Robertson, P. C. Staples, Jr., A. K. Ware, P. L. Wilson.
